I learned how to do standard algorithm long division I also learned that the the first digit started in the tens place.

I also learned about the partial quotient by using the divisor as a two digit number and the dividend a four digit number. I was also clueless about the sixteenths table because I didn't know it but this video from Khan academy helped me understand the sixteenths table while using partial quotient.
